Can you re-roof a manufactured home?
Yes. Depending on the existing roof we use a low-slope shingle system, a metal-over-metal roof or a single-ply membrane, with the fastening and edge details manufactured homes need.
Why do Garden City flat roofs fail in winter?
Wet snow, then rain, then a freeze, with drains and scuppers blocked. Water ponds, the load exceeds design, and the roof fails — that's what happened across the valley in January 2017. Clear drains, overflow scuppers and a fall inspection are the cheap prevention.
A cottonwood limb hit my roof. Is it covered?
Almost always — falling objects are a covered peril on standard policies, and the emergency tarp is covered as mitigation. We photograph everything, tarp it tonight and rebuild the deck in daylight.
