Most Meridian roofs were built to a price. Every pipe boot, every piece of step flashing and every vent is new, not reused. We install ridge venting matched to the soffit intake so the attic stops hitting 140°F in July. And we pull the permit through Meridian's Citizens Portal so the city inspects it too. Questions we get about roof replacement
How long does a roof replacement take?
One day for most single-story and simple two-story homes in Meridian; two days for a big, cut-up two-story or a metal roof. We don't open more roof than we can dry in before dark, and we watch the forecast.
Do I need to be home?
No. We need the driveway clear for the trailer and the dumpster, pets inside, and anything fragile off the walls (the hammering shakes the house). Everything else we handle, and we send photos as we go.
Should I replace or repair?
If the shingles are still flexible, the granule loss is local and the leak is a boot or a piece of flashing, repair. If the shingles crack when lifted, the gutters are full of granules and the roof is from the 2002–2008 boom, replacement is usually cheaper than three years of repairs. What warranty do I get?
Manufacturer coverage on the shingles — 30 years to lifetime, depending on the line — plus our own workmanship warranty on the installation, in writing. Idaho's UV is the main enemy of a shingle warranty, which is why we recommend the heavier architectural lines here.
Do you handle the HOA?
Yes. Most Meridian subdivisions require architectural approval for a roof color change and some restrict materials. We provide the product sheets and color samples your HOA asks for.
